Because the Water Skimmer^SM can travel effortlessly through the water with minimal resistance, it can go very fast on a very small outboard engine. This also makes it much more fuel efficient.

Jet skis and most other personal watercraft are noisy and very poor on fuel (the typical engine in one of these machines is 30 to 120 hp). The Water Skimmer^SM is a marine vessel that's a great alternative to personal watercraft. Because of its superior design, it will perform well with merely an electric-start 4-stroke 15 hp motor.

As an alternative, an all-electric version will also be offered. In place of the gas tank, a set of batteries and charging unit can fit very nicely in the integrated compartment. Plug in the motor overnight and run cheaply and quietly with zero emissions!

The design allows for easy entry to and from the water, especially when swimming or scuba diving. The Water Skimmer^SM offers a sweet, full 192 square inches (12"x16") of glass-bottom viewing area, between the driver and steering console.
